Santa's on his Rounds
Call him Father Christmas, Santa Claus, or even St. Nicholas, he's still that same jolly old man in a bright red suit, with the whiskers on his chin.
He'd already begun on his rounds of pre-christmas visits at the beginning of the month.
Although usually associated with a sleigh, the old man decided to utilize a speedboat to take him up the Waimata River to the home of Mr and Mrs John Hawksworth, Harris Street, where he was paying a call on a party for crippled children.
