A novel occupation for schoolboys was provided during the holidays by a local used car firm, who sponsored a vehicle spotting competition.

Entrants were required to fill in details of each used car and truck at the centre and then make the choice of which they thought was the best value.

Winner of the £10 first prize was Graham Castles, £5 second prize to Oliver Kissling and ten £1 prizes were also awarded.
