Cub Rally

Cubs from the eight Gisborne wolf packs combined at the Scout Hall on a recent Saturday to compete for the Nasmith Shield, the premier annual award to a cub pack.

This year the shield was won again by the Takitimu pack and the Nancy Turner cup for runners-up was won by the smaller Red Shield Pack.

Prizes were presented by long-time cubmistress June McGregor, now on the Dominion training team. With her is Takitimu's senior sixer Barry Poole and cub-mistress Margaret Loftus.
