Dunblane Home Extension Opened

With the audition of a new wing of six bedrooms, the capacity of Dunblane Home in Iranui Road has been increased to 19 women and five men The new wing, pictured below, was officially opened at a function in the lounge, which attracted about 100 people.

Rev.A. Wright, moderator of the Gisborne Presbytery, with Dunblane's matron, Mrs I. P. Poolman and her worthy assistant, known to all as Martha.

Bedrooms of the new wing are airy and comfortable. An example is Room 19 occupied by a relative newcomer to the home, Mrs Porter, who is more than pleased with the facilities.
