Members of the Takitimu Sea Scout Troop spent a recent Saturday exploring the upper reaches of the Waimata River. Pictures were taken following their lunch stopover above Waimata Island.

The Donald Brown Memorial Cup, which has been donated to the scouting movement in Gisbome district, to be presented annually to premier troop of the district. A handsome and imposing cup, it should give added incentive to scouting in the district.
