Inspired, no doubt, by the unquestioned popularity of "Love of Four Colonels", the New Zealand Players' next production to visit Gisborne (August 1 and 2) will be Peter Ustinov's even more succesful "Roman-off and Juliet".
Set in the "smallest country in Europe" (name unknown), the play revolves around the Russian and American embassies, between whom moves the country's General-cum-President, played by Anthony Groser
Comprising the Russian family are Charles Walker, Peter Brian and Barbara Leake.
In the American embassy are Leon Sinden, Freda Wilson and Ngaire Porter.
