Pictures in the Fog
Fog is the curse of many a city. Yet Gisborne, intersected though it is by tidal rivers, so rarely wakes to find itself in fog that the occasion is one for much comment. Such a morning came on May 12 when, after two days of heavy rain, dawn broke on a thick mist. As the sun came through, these pictures were taken (above) in Read's Quay, near the Peel Street Bridge, and (below) in Kelvin Park.
