Holiday Yachting

Ideal conditions prevailed during Anniversary Day weekend when the Gisborne Yacht Club held a regatta which drew a good entry from local and visiting yachtsmen. The largest visiting contingent was from Whakatane, and they enjoyed the good sailing in the bay and the hospitality at the clubhouse so much that they expect to be back again next year.
