Mr and Mrs E. J. Ralph, of Gisborne, who recently celebrated their golden wedding anniversary, are seen here with their daughter, Mrs A. Hollands, Aberdeen Road, and grandson, Mr Richard Hollands. Mr Ralph, who is 90 years old, worked for the Shell Oil Company here for 35 years.

After an absence of 38 years, Mr Henry Sutton, of Gippsland, Victoria, returned to Gisborne recently to visit his brothers, Mr Allan Sutton (left} and Mr John Sutton (right).
The trio, along with the late Mr George Sutton, came to New Zealand in 1907. Mr Henry Sutton worked for the Borough Council, the Cook County Council, and the P.W.D., helped build the Roebuck Road bridge and the Ngatapa railway, then went farming at Patutahi and at Whakatane, returning to Australia in 1919. The reunion was a notable occasion for the three brothers.
