Beautiful weather favoured the annual garden party at "Welcombe", Richardson Avenue, on October 24, When these beautiful gardens were opened to the public in aid of Dr.Barnardo's funds.

Two poppies on one stalk was the case in this unusual bloom grown by Mr C. W. Smith, Oswald Street.
