Tennis Players In The Making

The future of tennis in Poverty Bay promises to be bright from the look of these photographs taken on a recent Saturday morning at the classes for juniors conducted by Mr and Mrs Brian Jenkinson and their assistants.

Teenagers turn up by the score to take advantage of the tuition offered. They learn the rudiments of the game and are then expected to go on to club play with confidence.

Pictures were taken at the Gisborne Girls' High School hard courts.
