Youth and Age

In Ward 7 at Cook Hospital, where age holds sway, the impact of exuberant youth has been felt lately in the form of a vigorous pet lamb which has been presented to the ward. It is an enormous favourite with all the old folk.

The pleasure which even a pet lamb can give is graphically shown in these pictures of Mrs Ward, an 81-year-old inmate of Ward 7, giving Larry his morning ration of milk.
