The old Roebuck Road bridge, which should be disappearing from the Gisborne scene soon. The City Council recently accepted a tender of about £40,000 for the construction of a new bridge from Waikato Engineers and Traders Ltd., of Hamilton. The new bridge should take nine months to build.
