Fashions On Display

One of the reasons why Gisborne women enjoy a reputation for smartness is that the city enjoys the services of a large number of salons specialising in fashionable clothes. Recently, Day'n' Dance Wear, one of these salons, presented a range of winter fashions which delighted a large audience in Low's Rooms. The pictures are by Merv. Mitchell for Kandid Kamera Kraft.

Models enjoy dressing up for parade as much as customers enjoy display of latest fashions. Shots in dressing room show the girls (above) with Mrs Baker of Day'n' Dance Wear (at left). The models are Antionette Topic, Betty "Armstrong, Iris Baxter, Betty Campbell, Margaret Ratcliffe and Margaret Stewart.
