Flooding Follows Rain

When several inches of rain fell in one day this month, local flooding in the city, always a problem in some suburbs, was responsible for damage to householders' properties.

Streets were flooded in Mangapapa and Te Hapara.

Water flowing down off Hospital Hill was the cause of most of the trouble in these pictures taken at Mangapapa.
