Roving Camera
The night a southerly buster hit Gisborne earlier this month was a sleepless one for Mrs Callaghan, of Beach Rd. She underwent a terrifying experience when a particularly vicious gust tore most of the roof from her home.

Instead of a beer garden at Tatapouri Hotel, a modern patio is being added to the hotel buildings. It will have a glass wall giving an unrestricted view of the bay.
