Cottle-Hill. At St. Luke's Church, Ramsgate, England, on March 23, Jean Ruth, only daughter of Mr and Mrs W. H. Hill, Awapuni Road, Gisborne, to John Walter Cottle, only son of Mr and Mrs Cottle, Ramsgate, Kent. The bridesmaid, at right of picture, is Miss Joan Thorpe, of Ramsgate, a cousin of the bride. Miss Hill left Gisborne a little over a year ago to spend her 21st birthday in Kent with her grandparents, has since met and married there. Her grandparents Mr and Mrs W. H. Hill, Queenborough, Kent, are seen standing to right of the bride.

Thompson-Richmond. At Holy Trinity Church, Ada May, daughter of Mrs W. Richmond, Stanley Road, to Alan James Thompson, son of Mr J. P. Thompson, Manurewa. The attendants are Mr Norman Greaves and Miss Ellen Hauraki, and Miss Sarah Richmond, sister of the bride, and Mr Philip Thompson, brother of the bridegroom. Future home, Avondale Station, Hangaroa.
