Rumour has it that "Rock 'n' Roll", latest craze of the dance floor, is already on its way out, but by the look of these pictures taken at a recent Maori gathering in the Poho-o-rawiri hall there are still plenty of keen devotees with the required quota of skill and energy. The occasion was a "rock 'n' roll" contest. About 30 couples took the floor, but they soon made way for the undisputed "champs", Tola Nepe and Pep Maynard, seen here really in that groove.
