Miss Raewyn Gee, daughter of Mrs A. L. Gee, Lytton Road, and the late Mr Gee, and Miss Bette-Ann Bell, daughter of Mr and Mrs D. M. Bell, Abbott Street, who have left Gisborne to take up positions in Wellington.
Mr Trevor Ladd, of Wainui Beach, who left recently for a tour of the United Kingdom and the Continent.

Mr R. Viney, horticultural instructor with the Department of Agriculture at Gisborne, who is being transferred to Auckland. Mr Viney has been in Gisborne for the past six years. He was tendered a complimentary function recently by members of the P. B. Fruitgrowers' Association in conjunction with the Citrus Society and the Horticultural Society.
Miss Rosemary Rees, of Palmerston Road, who sails this month on her ninth visit to the United Kingdom. Miss Rees's latest novel, "Love in a Lonely Land", is to be published this year.
Miss Nancy Baigent, daughter of Mr and Mrs R. P. Baigent, Gisborne, who has been awarded a scholarship worth $1000 to study in California. Miss Baigent is at present studying for her degree of M. Agr. S. (Horticulture).
