On Stage

Two shows which promise exciting entertainment are due to open in the Opera House shortly.

The first is Rudolph Friml's tuneful musical comedy, "Rose Marie", which will be presented by the Gisborne Operatic Society next Saturday night and all next week.

Next month, on November 12 and 13, the Gisborne Repertory Society will present a play called "Meet a Body", which has the advantage of authorship by the crack J. Arthur Rank scriptwriters, Lander and Gilliat.
