Bulls On Show At Hereford Fair

×

More than £13,000 worth of Hereford bulls attracted a big group of buyers to the annual fair held at Matawhero this month. Competition was keen, although the average price, 185gns., was 23 per cent down on last year's rates.

The top price of 460gns. was paid by Mr A. H. Russell for Mr R. F. Hutchinson's Waihuka Guardy 1st, pictured above. Waihuka Guardy won the unled show competition, the Waihuka stud taking all the top prizes.
