Ban On "U" Turns?

Careless drivers may cause "U" turns to be banned in Gladstone Road.

Traffic Inspector B. M. Boyle will recommend such a ban unless he sees an improvement in the way drivers make their turns.

U-turning driver who didn't wait for road to clear has broken into two streams of traffic, endangering other motorists.

The map, recording accidents in which people were killed or injured last year, reveals the heavy concentration in the shopping area of Gladstone Road. There was some element of U-turning in seven of those crashes.
