Young Musicians

The remarkable interest being shown in serious music by young people was demonstrated once again during the school holidays when close on 100 students attended the annual music seminar conducted at the Intermediate School by Mr Len Schwabe, formerly of Gisborne, and now of Wellington. A full week was devoted to instruction and practise of orchestral music, culminating in a series of public performances.
