Naval Chief In Gisborne

Formal exchange of greetings between the captain and harbour officials when a warship calls at a port is part of naval tradition. The ceremony had added point when HMNZS Pukaki visited Gisborne this month, because the Chief of Naval Staff, Rear Admiral J.E.H. McBeath, DSO, DSC, joined the frigate here.
