Local landscapes and seascapes, as well as South Island scenes, were among the paintings by Greymouth artist Rod Leonard previewed at Palmerston Galleries on August 18. Rod Leonard is on a North Island caravaning/painting trip with his wife and family. His paintings display a refreshing style and the several paintings in shades of warm and luminous brown and white drew much attention.
