Complete Disarmament

Aikido, or the art of self defence, also includes disarmament in one of its forms. Spectators and buyers at the recent Y.M.C.A. Fair were given a good insight into this particular art when members of the club gave an expert demonstration of Aikido. Chief instructor Alan Waide shows how an attacker (with sword yet!) is able to be disarmed. More pictures of the fair, and aikido, on pages 38 to 41.
