Sanskrit '75

A clear third round, beautifully Jumped, gave Chris Smith and 'Sanskrit,' of Australia, the title of Horse Of The Year in the Wills' sponsored event at the Showgrounds on March 22. The combination's initial two rounds were matched only by Mark Noonan and 'Lady's Man Of Tuakau,' but Mark and his mount incurred faults at the biggest obstacle of the course during the jump-off, thus leaving the title to the winners.

Some matchless leaping was put in by 'Noonan' and 'Lady's Man,' and their fall in the jump-off, although quickly rectified, was most unfortunate.
