Machining The Most

The M.K. Club has been going for just over a year now and its 50 members are getting to know their knitting machines better by the day, and making the most out of them. The machine knitting club, whose members all have Singer machines, meets on the first and third Wednesdays of every month in the Mangapapa Union Parish Hall, Atkinson Street, at 7.30 p.m. The three different Singer models are used each club night to give instruction and allow members to use all aspects of their own machines to advantage. On the first club night instruction for a particular type of garment is given and on the second club night of the month a competition is held for the same type of garment for those wishing to enter. Any further information can be obtained from club secretary Pamela Harris, phone 86-357.
