Annual Outing
The annual outing provided by the Gisborne West Rotary Club for members of the Crippled Children Society proved once again to be a most enjoyable occasion, After an adventurous ride in the Harbour Board tug "Hikurangi" the children were transported to Anzac Park for a beaut feed of goodies and soft drinks.
All ready for a trip on the briny.
After afternoon tea Rotary West vice-president Ray Porter (left) presented the society with a Ro-car, a vehicle especially designed to give mobility to crippled children. While field officer Barbara Kissock and secretary Jan Comp look on, Nicola Allen tries out the Ro-car.
