Happy Day

A very happy day was enjoyed by the senior citizens who were guests at the Maori Women's Welfare Leagues' Christmas social. The Ngata residence in Grant Road was the setting for the occasion at which a delicious afternoon tea was served.

During the afternoon trophies won by league members during the year were presented. Mrs Joan Babbington (right) receives several cups from Mrs Collier (president) and Mr Ereatara.
