Mighty Fine Blooms

Considering the very unfavourable weather this spring there were some mighty fine blooms on display at this year's rose show staged by the Horticultural Society in the Kaiti Memorial Hall.

Champion bloom was "Mt Shasta" which came from the garden of Mrs Fay Caughey (right). She is being congratulated by the society's patroness, Mrs H. H. Barker.

Both men have done outstanding work at Eastwoodhill over the years.
