Harder Than Horses

Riding a frisky filly would have nothing on a motorbike when it comes to riding one of these vehicles in an off-road trial. The Gisborne Motor Cycle Club held a very successful trial off Goodwin's Road in the middle of September. The tricky part of a trial is that the competitor has to stand on the footrests and is not allowed to sit down. Needless to say, in the prevailing muddy conditions points were soon lost.
