At their recent annual general meeting, members of the club voted unamimously to change its name from Old Folk's Association to Senior Citizens' Association. And the decision must have had a great effect for we'll swear that those present for the July Birthday Concert (the first held under the auspices of the new name) all looked at least twenty years younger.

Those present for the birthday call were, from left, in front, Mr C. Davis, Mrs C. Dudley, Mrs D. Wells and Mr A. James. At back, Mrs B. Torrie, Mrs J. Soderston and Mrs E. Dawson.

Mr William Dawson entertained with violin solos.

×

Mesdames Hilda Harrison and Leaone Small sang solo numbers.

×

Mrs Myrtle Hunter gave a demonstration on the use of wigs.

And the pupils of Room 12, St Mary's, staged “The Turtle Drum,” which was very colourfully presented.
