New Facilities
On July 3 the board chairman, Mr R. A. White, officially opened the new and enlarged facilities which now make up Ward 9 at Cook Hospital. This, the attachment of a psychiatric unit to other hospital services, does away with any stigma that may have clouded the mental illness issue.
