$3000 Plus Presented

The fantastic total of $3400 collected by the Gisborne Boys High School I.H.C. Relay Team on their May run was officially handed over by cheque recently. At the gathering team member Tony Proudfoot was also presented with a painting by Mr Peter Ferguson to mark the exceptional mileage run by Tony during a previous sponsored run around the coast with Mr John Burns. Surrounded by members of the I.H.C. relay team, Mr Ferguson presents the painting to Tony while I.H.C. president Mrs Nora Steed accepts the $3000 plus cheque from master-in-charge, Mr John McFarlane.
