The Gisborne Rotary Lookout, which consists of a track through the trees to seats on top of the hill at the west end of Whitaker Street, was presented to the city recently.
The completed project (which involved the laying of the track by club members, and tree planting) was accepted on behalf of the city by Mayor Harry Barker from Rotarian Morrin Hardy.
