Great Show

The combined Boys and Girls High Schools' production of the musical “Oliver” delighted audiences in the Boys High Assembly Hall. With John Speakman making an excellent Fagin, and three other actors taking cameo roles, the production was given extra life and depth.

The famous scene where Oliver (Leigh Webster) asks for more. Vicki Horsfall is the Widow Corney and Roger Flury is Mr Bumble, The Beadle.

The chorus for the. “Orphanage” and “Fagin's School” were outstanding in an exceptionally polished performance, particularly with “Food, Glorious Food.”
