Hardy members of the Gisborne Surfcasters' Club still have a great time at this time of the year trying their luck around the coastline. The recently formed club, which now has more than forty members, has field days, competitions and monthly get-togethers throughout the year. The fish are willing to be caught too, but not all the time! Anyone keen on joining the club can get in touch with secretary John Randall, phone 88-284.
