The Reverend Reg Weeks has been appointed deputy director of the Ministry of the Presbyterian Church of New Zealand and has moved to Wellington to take up his new duties. Mr Weeks, who has been chairman of the East Coast Christian Council and a member of the Cook Hospital Board, has been minister of the Mangapapa Union Parish Church for the past 4½ years. He is pictured with his wife Jan, and family who are, from left, Phillip, Melinda, Martin (back) and Paul.

Miss Greita Clifford-Jones has retired as president of the P.B. Centre of the Red Cross Society after five years of dedicated service. During her term of office Miss Clifford-Jones has seen the complete updating of the meals-on-wheels service, and the building of the handsome new Red Cross Headquarters in Palmerston Road.

Terry Brinkley, formerly of Gisborne and at present living in Knightsbridge, London, is pictured with Jennifer Hannan of Crow's Nest, Sydney. Both have just completed a two-year management course with Harrod's, the big retail complex in Knightsbridge. Terry and Jenny will be returning to Sydney after a tour of the Continent later this year.

Karen Rock, second daughter of Mr and Mrs Fred Rock, Steed Avenue, has completed her training at Palmerston North Hospital and returned to Gisborne. She has taken up a position in paediatrics (in the children's ward) at Cook Hospital.
