$100 for Trophies

J. Wattle Canneries have given $100 to the boys' section of the Watties Gisborne Amateur Cycling Club. The money will be used to purchase trophies, in particular for the Watties Trophy series. Twelve special races will be run over the next three months on a points system. The cyclist with the most points at the end of that period will receive the Wattie Trophy.
