Nippy Nippers

The Waikanae Surf Life-Saving Club Nippers are a nippy lot (to coin a phrase), | and enter into their Sunday morning activities with much enthusiasm. They take part in flag races, beach - races, beach relays, surf relays and surfboard contests, and for many of the youngsters this is the highlight of the week. Under the supervision of senior Waikanae Club members and helpers the boys are progressing quickly in surf swimming ability and water confidence. These shots were taken on the last day of a very successful first season.
