Largest Attendance Yet

The largest number of people to take the Public Course in First Aid, run by St John Ambulance, is attending the annual intake for 1974. The course consists of two lectures per week (each by a different doctor) for three weeks, with each lecture being followed by practical work. At the end of the course revision takes place and an exam follows. A basic course in anatomy and physiology is given as well as the intensive grounding in first aid.
