Unfortunate Halt

The announcement that John Cottle is to try the jumping circuit in Britain, and possibly on the Continent, for at least a year, means he will be out of the running for the North Island aggregate equizole points prize. John had 'Warlock' in the lead, after the Gisborne Area Jumping and Dressage Show held at the Showgrounds, by two points from Joe Yorks' 'Big Red' As John Cottle will not be riding in any more shows before leaving for overseas chances look good for 'Big Red,' a fine jumper also.
