Rising Costs

......We regret that as from this issue it has been necessary to increase the cost of Photo News by 5 cents. The eight years which have elapsed since our last price increase have seen most of our production costs nearly double. While we have been able to offset these costs to a limited degree by new methods in efficiency, the recent very substantial rise in the cost of paper gives us no alternative but to increase our retail price. We thank you for your continued support of our magazine and trust that you will continue to find it an interesting and valued record of community life in our city.
