Reel Presented
A new life-saving reel was presented to the Midway Surf Life-Saving Club recently. The reel is worth $120 and was given to the club by New Zealand Industrial Gases.
Eighty From Elgin
Twelve members of the Elgin Guide Company took part in a sponsored walk recently and raised $80 for the I.H.C. The girls intend the money to be used towards the new hostel extension.
