Forty Years

Mr Lionel Henderson was accorded a presentation and farewell social by D. J. Barry Ltd, at Ulverstone, to mark his retirement recently. Mr Henderson has worked for the company for forty years. He started in 1931 and, except for a two-year break during the war, has been with them all that time. Mr Henderson has worked in different capacities for the firm during those years, including positions on the East Coast as well as in Gisborne.
