53 Years Later

After taking up the conductor's baton of the Gis-borne Cosmopolitan Club Orchestra in 1920, Mr Bill Lighton finally laid it down again at the last concert for the 1973 season. Mr Lighton has served the club well, being musical director for all those years. He was presented with a gift from the club as a mark of esteem for his services.
