Coming of Age

Lynette Milligan, daughter of Mr and Mrs D. A. Milligan, 270 Stout Street, returned home from Australia to celebrate her coming of age with a party with her parents. Lynette has been working in Sydney for the past two and a half years where she has been nursing and, more recently, working as a barmaid, for a complete change. After her holiday at home Lynette is returning to Australia to work.

A very enjoyable party was held by Mr and Mrs Roland Croskery, 157 Roebuck Road, to mark the coming of age of their daughter, Denise Ann. At the cutting of the cake Denise is pictured with her parents and sister Jeanette. (K.K.K.).

Graham Keats celebrated the attaining of his majority recently with a party. He is pictured with his mother, Mrs A. Keats, 578 Gladstone Road, and his uncle, Mr M. Keats of Masterton.

Clare Stichbury came of age recently and celebrated with a family party at the Chalet Rendezvous. Clare (centre) is pictured with her parents, Mr and Mrs C. O. Stichbury, 21 Dalrymple Road, and sisters Raewyn (left), and Gaye (Mrs Malcolm Fearn, New Plymouth). Clare, who was a typist with with the Department of Labour in Gisborne, is now secretary-typist in Wellington to Mr P. Amos, the Minister of Education.
