Five charming debutantes made their curtsey to Rev. Father T. Leslie, PP. at the Catholic Presentation Cabaret. The cabaret was held in the Archery Hall on July 14 and was attended by a largo crowd. The debs are. from left, Julian Kearney, daughter of Mr and Mrs R. R. Kearney, Cheeseman Road, Catherine Wood, daughter of Mr and Mrs K. R. Wood, Kaiti Beach, Margaret Gordon, daughter of Mr and Mrs D. P. Gordon, Waingake Karen Evans, daughter of Mr and Mrs K. M. Evans. Fox Street, and Heather Cooper, daughter of Mr and Mrs R. S. Cooper, Turenne Street.
