Burton Bowls

A thrilling finish, decided in the end by one point, was a feature of this year's Burton Trophy tournament.

The result was a win F. Williams (Gisborne) from H. A. Barnett (Poverty Bay).

It was Mr William's fifth win in Burton bowls, and his third as a skip.
